Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

Happy Friday! I hope that you had a great week. Are you going away for the weekend?

I seriously want to know how Labor Day arrived so soon! Where has this year gone? Okay, this is a scientific question. Are you ready? Why does the day seem so long when you are working? Oh, sorry…I am assuming that is how you feel too. Well, anyway when I was still working, I couldn’t believe how slow the day went at times. Of course I was a teacher. That probably explains a lot. I remember one time I looked up at the classroom clock thinking for sure it was close to lunch. It was only 9:00! It’s a mystery.

Anyway, I had a super nice week.

I unloaded  was able to get someone to take a few things in the garden that I don’t want anymore. Btw… check out those pomegranates!

I am happy to say that I’m 90% finished with some touch up painting on the outside deck.

Unfortunately, I keep running into a  problem in this one area.

                                                 Darjeeling…..just won’t move….oh well...

eventually it will get painted too.

                                                             I visited a delightful tearoom.

And, yesterday another friend called and invited me for lunch.

Me: “Yes I’d love to go out to lunch!” Geez…I wondered if perhaps I sounded desperate or something. Delight, delight, delight! You won’t ever see me suffering from DDS. Oh, I’m sorry again….that’s the abbreviation for Delight Deficiency Syndrome. *wink*wink

                                                               Here’s to a fabulous weekend!

                                                                                   xoxo…
