ThE ArT oF FrIeNdShIP…♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

Happy Wednesday! How’s your week going …

Well, my week has been moving along rather nicely. One of these days I’m going to surprise you with a finished tour of a closet I’ve been organizing f.o.r.e.v.e.r.

I’m wondering how something so small can take so long to clean,  and organize. What do you think…I think that it takes time to know what to keep, and what to let go of.

We’ll,  anyway. .. I’ve been looking forward to this day for over a month! (smile) I’m getting together with a dear friend. For a little background,  you might enjoy reading  this older post You’ve got a friend in me

This friend is very special, and dear,  because she’s a childhood friend. And, there’s nothing that warms my heart more than the loyalty of friendship over time. An over time friendship is a rare thing. A treasure. Lately, I have been thinking how important true friendship is in life.

And, because I love to garden…I see how cultivating a friendship, is similar to growing a garden. For me planting a garden takes devotion and leisure.

It takes patience to grow, and sometimes there are frustrations and hardships along the way. However, a seed must be planted. And, friendships, like gardens must have care and be taken care of. Unfortunately, we’ve all experienced what happens to friendships without proper tending. They often wither and
fade away. They go to Wiltsville. (a little garden humor)

Well,  anyway. . the charm, and beauty of a well taken care of garden is a wonderful enlightening sight.
Getting back to my  friend, we reunited earlier this year, and realized the importance of our friendship. So, we try to meet once a month for lunch or dinner.

I’m learning that the more effort and persistence I put into my friendships the stronger and everlasting with joy they will bloom.♡

                                        Xoxo. ..

                                       Marcia

Of course you can go home again! You just look in your heart for your old best friend.
