A ThOuGhT To bUiLd A DrEaM oN…♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

How was your Monday? Did anything interesting happen…
I had the most unusual morning yesterday.♡

I had been folding some clothes in our laundry room. An unassuming room, which happens to be tucked away upstairs.

And, I noticed this adorable little foot bench. Yes,  those are my feet. … and I’m now noticing that I could use a pedicure.  Well, anyway. …I started thinking, about this cute little foot bench. (Gosh,  I think my left foot is fatter than my right foot. ..hmmmm…. is that normal?)  Oh, well anyway. ..

I noticed the foot bench,  and thought it looked a little lonely. (Pout)

This tucked away room, just happens to have a charming little window too.

So, my thoughts were, that perhaps I could somehow improve this tucked away room.

After all, just because it’s a place where I wash, fold and iron clothes…. Doesn’t mean it shouldn’t also be charming. ♡ (big smile)

I imagined some sweet curtains. ..

                                                                Perhaps a little bistro…

A lace cover might be nice. …

Somehow CrEaTiNg a cozy window seat. …

I imagined a place that I could sit, perhaps have a cuppa tea (smile)

While doing the laundry. After all,  just because I have work to do…. Doesn’t mean I shouldn’t enjoy it.

And, before I knew it this little tucked away room started transforming right before my very eyes…looking just as I had imagined ….

The truth was, the room turned out even better, than I had imagined.♡

Which I imagine was a very good thing. …

Because,  by then I had quite a bit of laundry.

And,  of course. .. then, I started to imagine…

I’m wondering, if you ever have a morning like this. You start out doing one thing…. and end up doing another. I imagine of course you do.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Have a lovely day.

                                               Xoxo
                                              Marcia
