A Charmed~li~cious Home

Hi! I Hope you had a good week. Here on the coast there’s  been pitter~patter~ings of rain, some foggy mornings, and other natural everyday occurrences we all experience in life. (grin) Today’s post is sort of a continuation of an earlier story I wrote about. It was called Living A Charmed Life. Living a Charmed Life And, it’s a little strange that it was only a few months ago when I began the Charm Trail adventure I honestly thought it was just about acquiring a few cute charms  celebrating the Coos Art Museum’s 50 year celebration. It turns out that this fun charming adventure became much more. This past month I am super proud to say that I officially completed the bracelet. Yippee! It’s adorable, and whenever I wear it people compliment me about how cute it is. It actually makes me feel happy, &  really good to wear it.  However, what I … Continue reading

A LiFe LiVeD SiMpLy….

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡  I enjoy seeing all the throwback photos posted on FB. It’s fun to see how we have changed over the years. It’s amazing how some of my friends from high school haven’t changed a bit! In some ways I’ve changed a lot… in other ways I’ve remained similar to how I was in high school. But the truth is I wouldn’t want to be the same.  And, the changes have been good ones. Trust me. (grin) So, anyway…I’ve been thinking about our personal style. Sounds like a quirky topic. Well, perhaps not. I’m probably in between several styles right now. Oh, and btw… do you know what your style is? How do you decorate your home?  Do you enjoy decorating to the tune of the changing seasons? … Continue reading

The Mahaffy Ranch & Pumpkin Patch

Hi! Hope you had a great week. Any fun plans for the weekend? I’m often on the look~out for fun new places to experience here on the beautiful Oregon coast. It must be that former teacher gauge in me. You might know the one…it knows when school will start, and then I go shopping for new clothes.  It knows all the vacations, and definitely gauges when the weather begins feeling a little Fall~ish~y, it’s time to start planning for harvest field trips. So not surprisingly I recently began longing for a visit to a pumpkin patch.  With a little research I was excited to discover a wonderful Family friendly pumpkin patch not too far from where I live. It’s called the Mahaffy Ranch. This beautiful bucolic countryside property is owned by Ryan & Shawna Mahaffy. A super nice couple who have four sons and a HUGE pumpkin patch they open up once a year to everyone. I … Continue reading
