What is your Bliss?

Hello, welcome to Marcia’s cottage.  Shall we have a cup of tea? I am enjoying an organic Christmas Tea. It tastes heavenly. ~♡~ I’ve been thinking about bliss lately and what brings bliss into my life. I recently read that bliss is the holding place for JOY,  peace,  and happiness in our lives… And that it is inside each of us. I know that when I follow what makes me really happy. .. I’m blissful! I’ve learned that when I am connected to my home, for instance, through baking,  I’m in a state of bliss.  I lose track of time because I’m in such joy. ♡♡♡ I’ve been searching through my Christmas books for cookie recipes. -♡  I did find a few… What is your Bliss, my friend? A canning experience…

Hello, welcome to Marcia’s cottage. I have a fun day planned.  I’m gathering pomegranates from our tree. This is a photo of our pomegranate tree.  Let me show you a few more… This is Darjeeling our very curious cat.♡ I’m not sure how we were lucky enough to harvest these beautiful pomegranates. I’ve been gathering and saving them to make pomegranate jelly for holiday gifts. These are the seeds from some of the them. I’m freezing the others for next year. ♡  Have you done any canning before my friend? Hello, welcome to Marcia’s cottage.  I’m so “thankful” for you stopping by today.  I know you must be so busy, my friend. ♡ Shall we have a cup of tea? I  try to practice gratitude every day… However I’m a little embarrassed to admit this…I sometimes forget just how fortunate I am. For instance I have an abundance of friends. .. And you are part of that wonderful circle. ..♡ I have my health. .. And am surrounded  by the beauty of nature .♡ I’m very blessed with the love and support of my adoring husband. … Who prepared this very special Thanksgiving stew for us. …♡ Its a Cajon shrimp stew…. yummy! It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas. …♡

Hello, welcome to Marcia’s cottage. I have to be honest my friend♡ The Christmas sparkly has been sneaking into the Cottage lately. With Christmas only a few weeks away. .. Yes 28 days to be exact. It’s definitely sparkling in the Cottage. These are the Cottage mice. They are holding twinkle lights. The one in the middle says “JOY” They sit on the kitchen window. Oh BTW…”Joy” is my mantra for the coming year. …-♡ I just finished sewing this little Christmas curtain for the same window.  A dear friend had given me the fabric last summer.  I think it looks very sweet. This is one of many trees in the Cottage. .. A little light and sparkle on the way upstairs.. A Christmas Tea…♡

Hello,welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so glad you stopped by. For many years I hosted a Christmas Tea on the first Saturday of December. I had so much fun planning the menu, baking scones and decorating my little cottage. ~♡~ I would find just the perfect invitation to send to my guests. Each year I had a theme .. One year the theme was “A Cup of Christmas Tea”.  We would read from this very sweet book about an elderly women who looked forward to having a few special visits from her family during the holidays. Decorating the tables is always so special.  It takes time to make everything perfect. ♡  I’m looking forward to a Christmas Tea and enjoying the warmth of friendship.  Have you ever attended a Christmas Tea?
